This was my first time on Turo so the experience was generally good. We did have a couple of issues. The car did have some cigarette smell so I bought a gel bead air freshener to help. The air conditioner would only blow on fan within the first hour. So owner had us take it to mechanic next day to help remove. While we were there, owner took the opportunity to change the oil in car also. This took a few hours of our vacation day which was a bit inconvenient. There should have been some restitution time in my opinion but there was none. Air conditioner acted up again. That's when I realized that the car start/stop system on idle messes with the air compressor so upon initial start up before driving we would disengage it and the air conditioner worked fine. By accident, we did leave property in the car and thankfully we were able to get it back. Initially while using the car, owner responded well. Once we returned the car and realized that we left something behind, I felt the communication response was slower or very spotty in the least so I did have to call customer service to try to get a response to retrieve item. I know we all lead very busy lives but we all can do better. Overall it was not a terrible first time experience and I would Turo again in the future. Thanks.
