I booked this car to take my boys to Alabama State for their college experience. The pickup and drop-off process was very easy and convenient, which I really appreciated. The car is also very new, which I loved. The host was very responsive throughout the rental; however, I didn’t feel like there was much care or concern regarding the issues I brought up.
The cleanliness of the vehicle was an issue when we picked it up, and the air conditioning was barely working, which made the ride uncomfortable. The only reason I continued with the rental was because I was already running behind and needed to get my babies to their Alabama State college experience on time.
I was actually planning to extend the rental because I have to go back and pick up my boys, but the price to extend it was even higher than what I originally paid. My husband said absolutely not—especially considering how much we would be paying for a vehicle with barely working air conditioning.
Overall, I appreciated the easy pickup and drop-off process, the newer vehicle, and the host being responsive, but the lack of concern regarding the cleanliness and weak A/C, along with the higher extension price, was disappointing. 3 stars because it got me where I was going safely.
It's unfortunate these concerns were only mentioned after the extension request wasn't approved at the price you wanted. Turo's pricing was set automatically. The vehicle was cleaned before your trip, and the A/C was fully functional. When the car was returned, all of the air vents were closed, which explains the lack of airflow.
I don't believe guests who handle situations this way should be allowed to continue renting on the platform.

This is my second time renting this vehicle and it was as good as the first time. The vehicle was clean and good on gas. Easy pick up location.
