Everything about the rental was good overall, and I had no major issues with the vehicle itself. My main disappointment was the size of the SUV compared with how it appeared in the listing photos.
The pictures made the vehicle look significantly larger than it actually was, so I was honestly caught off guard when I arrived and saw the car in person. I was expecting a larger SUV, and the actual vehicle was much smaller than I anticipated.
In hindsight, I do take some responsibility for not doing more research beforehand. I mainly went by the photos provided by the host rather than looking up the vehicle online to get a better understanding of its actual size and dimensions. Had I done that, I probably would have had a better idea of what to expect and may have chosen a different vehicle altogether.
That being said, I do think the listing photos could be more representative of the vehicle’s actual size and proportions. Using a more standard camera perspective rather than a wide-angle lens would probably give potential renters a much more accurate idea of what they’re booking.
This was especially disappointing because I had the vehicle booked for an extended period and had plans involving multiple people, so the smaller size made things more difficult than I expected. I personally prefer larger SUVs, so the size was an important factor for me.
Other than that, everything was good with the rental. I just wanted to leave an honest review because I think more realistic photos would help future renters have a clearer understanding of the vehicle before booking.
