If you smoke cigarettes & don’t care about cleanliness this is the vehicle for you.
It was easy enough to find & the host was also quick to respond to my messages.
However the trouble began when the lock box fell off the window & nearly landed on my toes. The inside of the vehicle was filthy & reeked of cigarettes. I was desperate to go get something to eat so I drove just a few miles with the windows rolled down which didn’t help at all. After having lunch with a friend & got back into the car I realized the smell was not going away so I pulled over to call Turo but didn’t last more then 10min before getting a migraine & having to use my inhaler. I then immediately drove back to the parking garage to return the car. Turo instructed me to message the host to request a refund which I am grateful he did. The host also met me at the car & apologized but did not take responsibility for the filth or stench.
The thing that the host doesn’t understand is how this has affected my entire trip. 3hrs on the phone with Turo & they could not find me another vehicle within 30miles & they eventually offered me an uber credit to help reduce the $90 it cost me to get to my families house. At this point all the local car rental places were closed & I was too exhausted to go to the Airport & make the lengthy drive on my own with barely any sleep. I spent the next 2 days trying to rent a vehicle from a local car rental with no avail & when they (budget) finally did have one they wouldn’t honor the rate I booked the car at the day before (Priceline) & wanted me to pay nearly triple. So now I’m at the mercy of other peoples willingness to pick me up or drop me off otherwise it’s $40-$80 for an uber ride each way. So thanks for ruining my trip buddy!

Robert was such an amazing host. Very communicative and friendly. Car was great! Worked perfectly for my trip. Definitely worth the price.
