everything was great with the actual car, but the communication was pretty bad from the very beginning. I told the owner that this was my first time using this app and I had to pry all sorts of information out of him to figure out pick up, how to return, where the lockbox was, where to drop off. We filled the gas tank only to find out later that we didn’t have to. it was not an easy process and I would not rent from this person again.
The answers to all the questions you raised above were in your ‘guest instructions’.
This is unfortunate. We understood that this was your first time using Turo. It never occurred to us that you may not have read your notes section.
Gas, lockbox, pick up / drop off, etc., all shared in those instructions.
In the future, this suggests that it would be helpful if we call the guests that are using the app for the first time. Thank you for the feedback. This will help us help other guests.
