I wasn’t expecting a brand-new car, and I understood that an 8-year-old vehicle would have some wear. However, the car arrived in disappointing condition. It was not very clean, and I noticed a shaking sensation and a noise when turning.
More importantly, I was pulled over by the police because the tag was expired. While the owner was responsive and eventually sent a new sticker, I had to wait three days to receive it. This forced me to change my plans and created a very stressful situation with the police, which was especially difficult traveling with my kids.
Turo’s customer service was great in helping me navigate my options during this time. While I believe the owner didn't do this on purpose, the mechanical concerns and the legal issue with the tag were a significant disappointment and an unfortunate start to our family vacation. I was simply hoping for a car in better condition for the price paid.

It was great having four-wheel-drive in the snowy mountains surrounding Winter Park. Everything worked as expected. We will definitely use this host and vehicle again.
