The Full Self-Driving feature worked well overall, but there were repeated warnings indicating the front cameras needed cleaning service, which increased the supervision requirement and frequently displayed alerts on the screen. The vehicle also showed a service warning for excessive wear on the rear tires.
It would have been preferable if the car had been fully charged at pickup; it was at about 54%. Additionally, the rear passenger-side seat belt would not latch due to a malfunction.
Communication with the host was inconsistent, with slow responses and occasionally no response to questions or concerns, such as the safety issue with the malfunctioning seat belt. The listing is managed by a co-host, and the phone number provided does not connect directly to the Tesla owner.
The car was generally clean, but there were some white stains on the seats and visible exterior damage in several areas.
