The host didnt communicate at all. Didnt respond to any of my questions. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

I do not leave one star reviews lightly, but this experience earned it.
The host was 25 minutes late delivering the car, which threw off my entire day. Instead of a simple apology, I was told I did not follow directions that were never actually given. That was an interesting start.
The car itself had multiple scratches and marks and an odor inside. I could have overlooked that. What I could not overlook was the rearview mirror literally falling off mid trip. It felt like it had been attached with a glue stick from elementary school. I reported it immediately for safety reasons and received no response. I had to involve Turo support to get help.
The biggest issue was the communication. It was slow, dismissive, and unnecessarily difficult. Renting a car should not feel like solving a mystery.
If the price looks tempting, just consider paying a little more for a host who communicates clearly and maintains their vehicle properly. Your time and peace are worth it.
I genuinely hope this improves for future renters.
