Great communication and a friendly host. Unfortunately, I have to give three stars because the black Suburban SUV had a very strong smell of weed and cigarettes. The smell was very noticeable very strong. The owner is aware of the issue and is not disclosing it to customers. I saw a review mentioning the same problem, but unfortunately, I had already booked the car by the time that review was posted.
Also, when the owner sent me the pickup instructions and rules, they stated that the black Suburban SUV was brand new and that “I was the first one to rent it,” which is very misleading because that was not the case. Even though the car wasn’t brand new as they stated, the car itself was great, but the smell was horrible.

The car was delivered to you very clean and in excellent condition, with no unusual smells. When you picked up the vehicle, you inspected it and did not mention or report any odor at that time. We take cleanliness very seriously and make sure our vehicles are clean and fresh before every rental.

I spoke with host days before trip advising him about how important it is that I receive a car that does smell like smoke as I am traveling with infants and family members that are sensitive to smoke. I contacted him for a resolution and was absolutely no help. He wanted me to use my time and gas to return his vehicle 40-50 mins up north to have it cleaned and gave me no other option. No partial refund or solution. I offered the option of having someone closer to my area come over and clean the car and send him the bill for it. He gave a budget of $30 which would not even cover a basic car wash by any mobile detailer. Please keep in mind I rented this vehicle for 2 weeks and paid $1,700 in total. I also did not appreciate his attitude at the end of it all. I wish I could do 0 stars. The only good thing about this host was his timely responses. When I picked up the car it was also filthy inside and out. My wife and I had to have it cleaned ourselves. I think this is pretty bad service for paying $1,700.

We absolutely loved this car! It was in pristine condition and the host made everything so easy and also made us feel secure! He was professional with a good attitude. We will definitely be renting with him again in the future- definitely recommend using this host for your next trip!
