One of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. I collected the car to find it filthy inside, with rubbish, broken nuts everywhere, and spilled drinks left throughout the interior. I wish I could leave pictures on a review to show just how bad it was. The host admitted the usual cleaner was on vacation, meaning he knowingly handed over a dirty car.
When I asked for it to be cleaned, I was told to do it myself and claim reimbursement. As someone visiting from the UK, I expected the host to resolve the issue, not pass it on to me.
Communication was terrible. Messages went unanswered for days, and I constantly had to chase for responses when asking for help with this.
To top it off, I found out on the day that I had to pay an additional $75 to exit the car park, and had to make a 20 minute journey to get to the car from airport arrivals, which was never mentioned anywhere before booking.
Dirty car, hidden charges, poor communication, and zero customer service. I would not rent from this host again.

The vehicle was washed the day before your trip, but heavy rain overnight and the morning of pickup affected its condition. When notified, I offered reimbursement for a cleaning to resolve the issue quickly. I was not aware of any spilled drinks or broken nuts in the vehicle prior to your rental. I appreciate your feedback and will continue improving the guest experience.
