Well, the App didn’t work for check-in, no matter what I did. But I was able to call the host and they got me in, no big deal. When I opened the car I was hit with the most intense weed smell I’ve ever experienced. I called the host and they said it’s an ongoing issue and offered me to leave it. I was a few hours from a long time planned trip and there was no way I could cancel and get a different vehicle big enough to transport the extremely religious family 6 hours away on a church trip in time. So, we bought 2 cans of Febreeze, air fresheners and Lysol wipes….somehow it barely helped. And after a week of obviously not smoking illicit drugs in it and driving with the windows down, every time we got in it, the smell was terrible. Made for an awkward trip with the children of church elders. Other than that…the car worked okay and I don’t blame the hosts, they can’t prevent it but it would have been nice to know before It was too late to find another vehicle that we would have this issue.
