The car was great fit for the family I had come down to visit. I had some last minute changes and Tung was very accommodating, would definitely rent from him again.

The car is in good shape but the experience was horrible. The battery in the key said it needed to be replaced when I picked up the car. I assumed that it would have enough juice to last the two days of my rental, since I trusted that the host was aware since it was lit up in the car. That was not the case. After driving 2 miles from the pick up location and doing some shopping, I got in the car and the car said the battery was dead in the key. Luckily, I was able to move the key around enough to get it started but then couldn’t stop the car for hours for fear that I wouldn’t be able to get it started again. I ended up returning the car a few hours after I picked it up after purchasing two different batteries and trying to replace it myself twice. I told the host I would be returning it and expected a full refund given all the hassle and the fact that I had to pay $60 round-trip to get to the pick up and drop off location, plus I paid for two batteries. Ultimately, I had to call Turo directly because I did not get the full refund. Turo said I absolutely deserved the full refund and gave it to me. Then, I went to check out of the reservation and there was still a balance on the account. I ended up paying it because I want to be done with this. Super disappointing! I have rented from dozens of hosts through Turo and never had an experience like this.
