I got to the car 7 minutes early and asked for it to be unlocked remotely. No response. When the actual pickup time arrived I asked again for it to be unlocked. It was unlocked a couple of minutes after my start time. That was annoying. The tires on the suburban were bald and we ran into heavy rain. We hydroplaned several times. I went over the mileage and the host calculated a number more than I thought. I turned the car in over 20 hours early and received no credit although I was charged for the mileage. Overall, not a great experience and I would not rent from this host again.
We are sorry you had a bad experience. The car was unlocked exactly 1 minute after your trip start time. The tires were all within spec, but we replaced the rears anyway based on your feedback. You could have changed your trip to end sooner, but you did not, which was in fact the cheaper option given the excess mileage, which is not subjective. It is a violation of TOS to retaliate against hosts for fees you agreed to pay when you made the reservation.

The Suburban was perfect for our trip needs. Fit 8 comfortably and plenty of room in the back for luggage and bags. Drives great. The host was very communicative and easy to speak with. Pick up and drop off was simple from Dallas Love Field airport. Highly recommended for those with a large party!
