The car was ok but needs some work done

I want to be honest about my experience renting from Raul. While we did not pick the car up at the originally scheduled time, we communicated clearly in advance that we would be late. Despite this, I was informed that the reservation had been reported as two hours late, which resulted in the original reservation being canceled.
When we finally picked up the vehicle, the condition of the car was very disappointing. The car had a strong, unpleasant odor and was extremely dirty. There was visible trash inside, and I even found a bottle under the seat. We had to spray the car down and wipe it out ourselves before feeling comfortable driving it. It appeared as though this may have been a personal, everyday-use vehicle that was rented out without being properly cleaned or prepared. Additionally, the car made a noticeable noise that sounded like it may have been coming from the engine, which was concerning during the drive. Based on the cleanliness issues, odor, and mechanical concerns, I would not recommend renting this vehicle unless you are prepared to do significant cleaning on your own.

I was definitely disappointed in the smoke smell. It smelled like a smoke box . Smelled like Weed! Very embarrassing to have people comment about it when having family and friends ride. Should have disclosed it’s a smoking vehicle that smells like weed!!! 😠

Car ran well despite my frustrations with the smell and overall wouldn’t rent again.
