This was my first experience with Turo.. and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The booking process went well. However the communication with Stephen (owner) was nonexistent. I messaged him two times without any response in the attempts to be proactive because I was landing late at night. The only response I received was a read receipt. I eventually contacted Turo Customer Service directly to get some of my questions answered to the best of their ability.
One the day of the rental start date, I received a notification from Johnathan (please excuse if I misspelled your name) regarding the rental location. When I sent him a message he actually responded. I was shocked and surprised. He gave me more information about the process, which made me feel at ease. Thank you Johnathan, your kind gesture made the experience a 4-star review not a two-start review.
On a positive note the check-in and check-out process went well. The car drove very nice. I’m still on the fence on using this service again.

Pick up was not communicated very well; was given airport address but was in a parking lot about 45 minutes’ walk to the airport. Was not given the spot number till I communicated with the hosts. There is a shuttle that takes you to the lot. Other than that, car was clean and dependable. Hosts was very responsive and had no issues with direct communication.
