The host was niceI truly enjoyed my trip and the host was amazing from start to finish. The vehicle was clean, reliable, and exactly what I needed for my trip out of town. The host was professional, kind, understanding, and easy to communicate with. I would definitely rent from him again in the future and highly recommend booking with him.

I also want to be honest about an issue I experienced with the Turo app itself — not the host. One of the main reasons I booked this rental was because I requested the unlimited mileage extra since I already knew the free 200 miles included by the host would not be enough for my trip. I even added extra money to cover the unlimited mileage, but later realized the app never charged me for it due to what appears to have been a Turo app error.

As soon as I noticed the issue, I contacted Turo customer service immediately and explained everything. I even showed proof that I intended to purchase unlimited mileage. Unfortunately, I was later asked if I had screenshots of myself selecting the unlimited mileage option. Honestly, most customers would never think to screenshot every extra they add because we naturally trust the app to process things correctly.

Money is tight right now, so the uncertainty about possible mileage charges has been stressful. Still, I want to make it clear that this situation is not the host’s fault at all. My issue is strictly with how the situation was handled by Turo’s system and customer service.

For anyone booking through Turo, please protect yourself and screenshot any extras you add — especially unlimited mileage — just in case the app glitches or fails to process it correctly.

Overall, I loved the rental experience and truly appreciated such a great host. Thank you again!
