The car was great, very clean. Noticed the rear passenger side brake light was out and notified the owner. I would rent his vehicle again.

Car was not ready when we arrived because someone else had taken it. This pushed my booking back 30 mins. I was threatened to pay $150 for dirty seats until I showed the seats were dirty when I received the car and it’s documented in my check-in photos. I was ultimately charged $32 because he said the car was not full despite me filling the tank prior to drop off and uploading a picture of the full tank. The car’s transmission seems to be going bad because it hesitates and pulls. By far the worst Turo experience. So unfortunate because I went out of my way to book with this host for a second time when there was another option that was cheaper. I hate to leave a review like this but I do feel taken advantage of so I want to warn others to be careful who you book with and document everything. I submitted an appeal for the charge but I haven’t heard anything from Turo and they have taken the money from a different payment method than the one I booked with, not sure how they did that but they did. Beware.
Honestly, I’m surprised
I could have charged a $150 cleaning fee for the spilled juice and candy on the rear seats, and another $150 smoking fee for the cigarette ash left beside the driver’s seat.
On top of that, I gave you an extra 3 hours at no charge as a courtesy.
Despite all of that, I still received a 1-star review.
It’s disappointing, but I wish you all the best.
