I had an amazing experience renting Christian’s vehicle! The car was spotless, reliable, and exactly as described. Communication with Christian was smooth and friendly from start to finish—he was flexible, punctual, and made the whole process easy. I’d absolutely rent from him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great vehicle and an even better host!

Easy pick up/drop off. Great communication. Clean vehicle. Wish the back up camera had better clarity and key fob was a little funky. Few times could not be detected by vehicle even when it was in the vehicle. Had to restart vehicle and it was detected shortly after. Overall good rental!

Hey I’m glad you enjoyed the car! I apologize for any inconvenience with the fob. It is a spare so the connection works best in the middle console so it’s clearly detected. Safe travels back!
Christian was very responsive and the car itself was great — clean, smooth to drive, and had everything we needed.
The only downside was the key fob. When we picked up the car, the dashboard showed a low battery warning. Christian reassured us it wouldn’t be an issue, but by the next day the fob died. We could still drive by pressing it to the start button, but locking/unlocking became a hassle, and using the manual key set off the alarm each time.
At one point the car even auto-locked with the dead fob inside. Turo support was unhelpful and only offered a $200 locksmith service, while Christian was out of town and couldn’t bring the spare. We ended up calling our own locksmith. Christian covered half the fee, which we appreciated, but the situation disrupted our plans and added an expense that likely could’ve been avoided if the fob battery had been replaced or the spare provided earlier.
Overall, we’d still recommend Christian since the car was great and he was responsive, but this issue kept it from being a perfect experience — closer to an 7/10 than a 10/10.

In the past, the fob would last weeks after showing "low battery", so I assumed it would last the 3-4 days you had it. I'm sorry to hear you locked yourself out of the car, I hope it was helpful that we split the cost of a local locksmith to get you back in. If you find yourself visiting Colorado Springs again we'd love to be your host and make it up to you. Cheers!
