The car appeared to be brand new. It was very nice because the newness of the car also prompted us to be extra attentive to taking care of it. The biggest challenge for me was getting used to the process of checking in to retrieve the car and taking appropriate "condition" photos. I took videos at the times of receipt and delivery, but the app prompts you for photos of the condition upon delivery. This "learning" just extended the time to complete the drop off process, but it was completely understandable.
We will definitely consider using Turo in the future.
