The trip itself went fine, but the 2018 Chevy Traverse had significant pre-existing body damage that was completely omitted in the listing photos. Early in the trip, the car developed a severe exhaust leak. I contacted the host immediately, but they told me there was nothing they could do about it. The leak grew progressively worse and louder, making the rest of our trip highly embarrassing to drive around in. Additionally, the overall mechanical condition of the vehicle was poor. It gave us serveral maintenance needed notifications while driving, was overdue for an oil change, and the rear wiper blade was falling off. After returning the rental, the host promised a partial refund for the trouble. It has been 9 days and I still have not received any compensation. I cannot recommend renting this vehicle.
