Overall, I was remarkably pleased with this rental. The vehicle was smaller than I initially expected, but that quickly became one of its biggest strengths 😅. It was excellent on gas, I only spent about $40 to fill the tank after my trip and its compact size made parking in tighter spaces incredibly easy. Which was my favorite thing about the car 😍
Pickup was seamless and convenient. 👍🏽 The only downside was that the car had a noticeable smoke odor. I messaged the host as soon as I noticed it, and he responded promptly. Since I had already taken possession of the vehicle, there wasn’t much that could be done, but I appreciated the quick communication.
Before my trip, I also received an alert that the vehicle might not be available for part of my reservation. I reached out to the host for clarification but didn’t receive a response. Fortunately, Turo’s customer support stepped in quickly and resolved my concerns.
Those were really the only issues I encountered. The car drove well, was reliable throughout my trip, and ended up being a great fit for what I needed. I’d definitely consider renting from this host again. 🫡
