The car was in good working order. All of the windows of the car were filthy, and there was the overpowering car “trees” air freshener smell that we finally found and removed. The pickup was in a surface lot that required us getting on a tram and traveling two miles from our terminal. It was convenient for our host but certainly inconvenient for us. Additionally the surface lot is a flat $20 per day, resulting in us paying $40 for parking where most other Turos we’ve rented parked in the economy lot adjacent to our arrival terminal. That lot is $4 per hour. Overall experience was meh!
I’m glad the car ran well, but I apologize for the dirty windows and strong air freshener scent. That’s not the standard I aim for.
Regarding pickup, Turo only permits host pickups at the Terminal C Brightline station, so that location is required rather than optional. Parking rates are set by the airport and unfortunately outside of my control. I understand it may have felt less convenient depending on your terminal, and I do appreciate the honest feedback.
