So I’m going to give an honest review. Communication was great and vehicle was neat and clean with clear instructions. As a female alone the pick up location of the car was in a horrible sketchy location. I was coming and going from St Pete/Clearwater airport which put me returning in that dark lot. Yes, I could have remained in the vehicle until my Uber arrived but even the Uber wasn’t sure where I was so I had no choice but to wait out on the street. Not safe, especially in that part of town! My only other gripe is the car reeked of cigarette smoke, especially with a sticker inside clearly saying no smoking allowed. Very strong smoke odor. Other than that vehicle ran great 👍

Thank you for your review Renee. We understand your concerns about the area. We have never personally experienced any incidents here. The location is very close to downtown, and there is not much we can do about the surrounding area.
Regarding the smell, unfortunately, not all guests follow Turo’s no-smoking policy. We will have the car fully treated, but cigarette smoke can be very difficult to completely eliminate, and a residual smell may sometimes remain.
Host communication was great car was fine for price, drove from Tampa to Miami and back no issues. Only problem I had was a strong scent of dog in the car upon pick up.

Thank you. Our previous guest violated Turo’s cleanliness and odor policy. We had the car thoroughly cleaned and disinfected and treated it to eliminate the odor. You may have noticed some residual odor. We will carefully inspect the car again and, if necessary, give it another thorough cleaning and air it out.
