Car pick up was good the return was major challenge and I got charged for a full day and late fees that I tried to avoid and called several support people and the host a few times a couple days in advance due to a family emergency. I was still fully charged.

You simply shifted your problems onto me. You were charged a fee because the next driver couldn't get the vehicle due to your actions; I had no way to influence the situation. I am very sorry. You need to be more careful when booking a vehicle.
Reliable car, very clean, and host was very friendly and thorough . i would definitely book again (:
