This was my first time using Turo. Booked this CR-V very last minute after my rental car company that I had a reservation with called and said they were out of cars. So I booked this CR-V and it was ready in short time. It is exactly as expected. It is a 2016 but clean and well taken care of. The car ran great, a/c ran cold even though it was hot out. (The black leather got hot but I can't fault anyone for that.) The pickup process was fairly easy. There was nobody at the car location pickup. It was a little neighborhood just outside the brewery district. The car had a lockbox and I got a message with the code. Communication with the owner was easy and they responded quickly.
I'm giving it 5 stars b/c overall it was a good experience that saved my 1 night trip out of town and the car was as advertised. The only thing that could have gone better was that when I got the car the gas tank wasn't totally full. It was just below "F" and my guess maybe 2 gallons short of being full. I was asked to just fill it to the same level as when I picked it up but that is tough to "guess" how many gallons that is at the gas station at the end of the trip. So I just filled it up all the way. It would have been cool to just have it filled all the way when I picked it up. Not a big deal, but a little thing that could make it better for the next guess next time.
