I took a road trip a few hours away from me and the last 30 minutes of my ride the car started malfunctioning. The vehicle was fishtailing and I contacted the host and she said she will have the car towed and I will get a replacement vehicle to get me back home. The car was towed that night, but Turo told me they was not able to accommodate me getting home and in so many words said I had to figure it out. After going back and forth with Turo for 2 hours they gave me a full refund.

To clarify, I worked closely with Turo throughout and followed their guidance. There were two options provided, a replacement or a refund . The refund was selected.
The vehicle had been recently serviced, with no check engine light or maintenance due. The towing company also confirmed the vehicle was drivable and reported no mechanical issues.
I aim to provide every guest a smooth experience, and I value concerns shared based on facts.
