Rent my Jeep and help me with diaper money for my baby girl! 😁 Only Trektop Ultra Slantback soft top on TURO and fully convertible! You don't have to pay any extra "fees" to have the top removed and then be bombarded by sun ALL DAY! You can enjoy it up, down, or in between. There's no more ideal vehicle in Sunny San Diego! Get ready for the jeep waves and good vibes only ✌🏼in a Turbo Charged Jeep Rubicon with upgraded wheels and of course, a very necessary phone dock. The jeep is immaculate, very clean, looks, smells, and drives new! Surprising on power for a Jeep and in my opinion, the best color scheme for this jeep! White with fabric, so it keeps you cooler during the summer. All weather mats for easy cleaning on those beach days or hikes. Amazing features, power windows and door locks (of course), keyless touch entry, and push to start with smart key (don't need to put key in ignition). Apple car play, Android auto, 4 USB ports, several USB C ports, 4 wheel drive, steering wheel controls, car seat anchors, power inverter for a standard electrical plug, and big rear cargo space for all your luggage (rear seats 70/30 fold flush with cargo area). Also has a "Soapy Joes" subscription, so you can take to one of the many local drive thru car washes or vacuum as needed during your trip. *per Turo terms of service, vehicles CANNOT go to MEXICO and will get reported immediately. *per Turo policy, no off roading *NON SMOKING VEHICLE* up to $250 smoking fee will apply. *do not use your own disinfectant wipes or cleaners on or in car as they can do damage to interior and exterior which will result in charges. There are specialty approved car interior disinfectants available for this reason. *please keep the car clean, but don't worry about disinfecting when dropping off, as I will take care of it to help avoid any damages due to wrongful chemicals.

How do I operate the convertible top?
The top has several configurations in which you can drive with, including full convertible. There will be a storage back for the window panels to keep them protected and safe if you want to use as a convertible. This Jeep was clean, comfortable, and quite perfect for our family! We are from Michigan, and heading out to San Diego was something that we knew would come with some adjustments - one of those adjustments was the traffic. I quickly realized that to maneuver around in that traffic effectively, your vehicle needed some power behind it, and this Jeep had exactly that. I was able to get going quickly when needed and get around quite easily because it is not too big. It was also a blast to take the top back and cruise around town - super fun vehicle!
There were two minor draw backs. First, the suspension on the Jeep is quite tight (likely intentionally as it is probably a sport model). This made it fun on the highway, but we found that some of the back roads are not exactly well maintained and are quite bumpy - when going slow you can feel every bump. Second, nothing that is Mike's fault at all, but the San Diego airport no longer allows Turo cars to be parked in the airport lots (I presume the Hertz people are losing money and complained or something). This caused some anxiety for us as we dropped the vehicle back off at the end of our trip, as our walk was redirected due to airport construction. Not a huge deal at all, as long as you plan for a decent walk to and from the vehicle, and know your route! Make sure you have 30 min or so just in case.
Mike was also a great host! He was easy to contact the entire time we were there, and accommodated us very well. He gave us instructions on working the soft top, and was great to interact with when needed - never made anything seem inconvenient at all. Would absolutely go through him again in the future if we ever head back out there!
In the end, if you are looking at a few vehicles to rent and are torn at which one to go with, rent this Jeep - you will not be disappointed!!
