Car smelled very strongly of smoke. It was clearly known to be an issue because they put air fresheners in the doors to mask the smell. Owner said a guest smoked in the car a month ago and they had it professionally cleaned and they didn’t feel the car had any noticeable smell, which was ridiculous. Do not rent car or trust owner.

We’re sorry to hear you were dissatisfied. We were transparent that a previous guest had smoked in the vehicle over a month ago, after which it was professionally cleaned and treated. At delivery, we did not detect a noticeable smoke odor. We respectfully disagree with any suggestion that we were dishonest or intentionally misrepresented the vehicle’s condition. We regret that the experience did not meet your expectations.
