I rented this Toyota bZ4X even though I’m not normally an electric vehicle driver, and it ended up being a much better experience than I expected. The vehicle was exceptionally clean, very smart, easy to drive, and surprisingly spacious inside.
For charging, I found Electrify America stations to be the best option—they were much faster and more reliable than other chargers I tried.
Pickup and return were both simple and hassle-free. My only suggestion is to avoid picking up the car after dark, as it can be a little difficult to locate it in the parking lot at Dulles airport.
Overall, this was a great rental, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone.
