I took a road trip to Vegas and had the best experience with the check-in and car.
First, let me say the Mach-E surprised the heck out of me, it was elegant, well-built, clean, comfortable, fast, and a pleasure to drive. I would easily choose this over other EVs for sure.
The Blue Cruise hands-free driving was a game-changer for the long trip. I didn't need to have my feet on the pedals or my hands on the steering wheel. It basically drove me around. This feature alone was worth it.
I was able to charge at the Tesla Super Chargers, which was also a pleasant experience. They are fast, easy to use, less expensive than other charging networks, with lots of spots. Some of them did have a shorter cable, so I had to park really close.
The vertical screen with Apple CarPlay was my favorite, the maps were very large and so was Spotify. And since Blue Cruise did all the driving I was able to take full advantage of the large screen.
Everything about this rental was perfect. Can't believe I was a Ford / Mach-E hater. :) This car and rental experience was a hit and looking forward to renting again for the next road trip.
