There were dents, scratches and stains but I clearly documented them in photos so I didn't have to worry about being blamed for damage. The car ran well though there was a front end shimmy while driving on the highway and the brakes got to the point where they needed to be changed, which made it a little nerve-wracking to drive. It has a LOT of room for luggage (I was able to pack my bike in it!) and was actually a nice vehicle overall. The cruise control didn't work but the host was surprised when I mentioned it upon returning the vehicle so I can't blame him for that but it did kind of stink not being able to put the car on CC for the trip.
