The host was great but had a few issues with the car

Car was conveniently dropped off before check in, however the car had multiple minor issues. Overall it drove well.
The car smelled like cigarettes. We also immediately noticed that the right blinker was very fast, indicating an issue with the bulb. The owner assured me it was fine, but provided a bulb in the glove compartment, indicating they’re aware of the issue instead of fixing it themselves. Largest issue was that the check engine light was on for most of the ride. The owner assured me this was from the gas cap not being attached, but this turned on 70 miles into my trip after not touching the cap. Any attempt I tried did not fix the issue. Finally, the windshield wipers needed replaced, but worked fine in the rain.
The owner was very responsive, but this car left a lot to be desired.
