The car was ok although one headlight was not working which we only noticed late at night.
But more importantly, the registration for the car was suspended and we were pulled over by the cops as they ran the plate and noticed this. They said we were ok to go because it was a rental but they claimed they could have arrested me for driving a car without a valid registration (not sure if thats true or not....).
I reported both of these issues to the owner and he became angry about the specific parking spot I chose for the car and didn't take any responsibility for the suspended registration.
He was angry that I parked in a spot that had street cleaning the next day, but he didn't give me any prior guidance on searching for spots with specific street cleaning days. I parked in a spot that was valid until after the end of the Turo rental period.
Overall this owner probably shouldn't be on Turo as he isn't willing to accept the responsibility that it requires.
