I only asked for vehicles that had airport pickup and although it states you can that is not true. You have to take a shuttle to the hotel that can take up to 30 minutes before it arrives. When we finally got to the car after almost 40 minutes (I ended up paying for a Lyft) we see the car is damaged on the passenger side. The passenger back door makes a weird sound and the maintenance light came on. The owner states they will leave a key to get out the parking lot but that is not the case. They left the parking ticket and $2 (mind you the machine only takes cards) in the lockbox. It cost me $4 to leave the parking lot. I have to say this car did not have a smooth ride. The inside was clean which is the only reason I have a few stars. When we go to leave the car we have to walk all the way from the back of the parking lot to the front of the hotel and guess what we missed the shuttle so instead of waiting another 30-45 minutes I again paid for a Lyft. The owner needs to communicate the vehicle is not at the airport. I was on a quick schedule and the almost hour to get to the car didn’t help. I can’t speak for anyone else but I definitely will not be renting this one again and I’ve never had an experience with Turo I didn’t like.
