Car broke down on the side of the road one hour into the trip. I missed my Father’s Funeral
Hi Andretta,
I’m very sorry this happened and understand how frightening it must have been. Although our cars are regularly inspected, the issue wasn’t detected before your trip. The tire was new, but the mechanic explained the problem was caused by a bump on the front passenger side. For safety, Turo temporarily unlisted the car. We replaced the tire, had the car fully tested, and provided documentation to Turo. The car is now relisted and has had no issues. We truly regret your experience.
