The car was easy to find and access, and was a fun way to get around Bozeman and the area. Be sure to read the details about cleaning the car before returning. Sure Cole will say it’s not mandatory but I think it’s difficult to know what defines “clean” to one individual vs another - so we did the car wash, vacuumed and wiped down the interiors. It took an extra 15-20 minutes so be sure to factor this into your return to airport timeline. Cole sent an invoice after we returned the car claiming we hadn’t filled the gas all the way up - even had a photo showing the line under the fill line, which I have to think was an altered image because thankfully I had my own photos that clearly showed a completely full gas tank. I disputed the invoice and Turo agreed with my documentation. Word to the wise: be sure to take photos after your trip including the gas gauge so someone doesn’t try to take advantage of you for something that isn’t right.

Hello Rebecca, we always take pre and post trip pictures. When submitting reimbursement for loss of gas, turo always reviews them. Turo sided with me in this case which is why you were charged for the missing gas. I’m sorry this isn’t what you were expecting but I have to make sure that gas is filled back up. Also, as noted in the trip messaging the car wash is just provided to avoid any potential cleaning violations. If you follow up, I’ll be happy to further explain this! Best, Cole
