The gas tank was not full when I picked up the car. Because it had both digital and analog gauges, i didn’t realize the tank capacity until I returned the car with full tank. I messaged the host a couple of time asking to refund the difference but he never replied. There were earlier communication and flexibility gaps too. Also, when I picked the car it was covered with 6” of snow. There was a tiny ice scraper in the car to deal with it. No charging cables or water bottles that I got accustomed to from other hosts.

Tags were expired when I picked the car up. I couldn't wait for a new reservation, so I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Turo. I wanted to know the policy in case I got a ticket to know fault of my own. Not a great way to start the day but the car ran good and pretty clean. I wasn't going to write a review and just let it go but i couldn't leave a 4 star without an explanation I guess.
