Before I made the reservation I asked if the car could be left somewhere closer to the airport and was told yes to just message them the day before so I went ahead with the booking. The day before I sent a message that was read but not replied to. When we landed at the airport a few hours early I asked where the car was left. Again, read but no response. I waited another hour and asked where the car was. I was told they forgot and left it at the original spot. My family of 4 had to walk almost a mile with all of our luggage to the vehicle which was another block over from where the Turo app said. If I would have known this I would have used a rental car agency from the airport.

Overall, everything was good with the host and the car — great communication and willingness to help. The only thing was that the brakes squealed a bit when shifting into reverse, and we also paid an $11 parking fee at the location where the car was delivered. It wasn’t a major issue, but we didn’t realize that cost would be on our end. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we would definitely rent with Marlon again.
