All went well except the air conditioner developed issues and did not work for the final 2 days of the rental. Not a huge issue as it wasn’t too terribly hot. But I was a little annoyed that I was billed $27 for excess mileage after letting the owner know of the lack of working ac (which, based on my experience with the same symptoms- air cold but not blowing, was likely due to failing to change the cabin air filter - which was also evidenced by noticing that the oil change sticker in the window was already “overdue” at the time of the rental). Other than that, good car and easy pickup and dropoff. Just think that the $27 excess charge should have been waived given the failure of the AC.

The excess mileage charge was based on the mileage driven beyond what was included in the booking and was applied per the trip terms. Also, the oil reminder sticker did not reflect the vehicle’s actual maintenance status. I’m glad the rest of your trip went smoothly and appreciate your feedback.
