The car was honestly great. However we were involved in a hit and run and Turo refused to work with our insurance even though on there website in there rules you are allowed to use private insurance. The nightmare this made our vacation was truly a mess. And charging my card the damages I still can’t wrap my head around when I’m an insured driver whose insurance covered this trip. The host said Turo was ending however when Turo called and said our last day would be ending the trip I’d be reimbursed the host no longer ended the trip. At that point when he said he was coming to pick up the car after saying we’ll go the avenue of our insurance bc if everything goes good with the police department he’ll be financially responsible. So I made other arrangements with family but then he wouldn’t pick up the car bc we would have received a credit from Turo bc of the host ending the trip not Turo.

My role was simply to report the damage and follow Turo’s required procedures. Throughout the process, I remained available and communicated with you regarding next steps.
