I enjoy renting from Adam because his cars are generally nice and very affordable. This was my second time renting from him. While I am giving a 4-star rating this time and would rent from him again, I want to provide an honest account of my experience.
During my first rental, the sun visor fell down completely shortly after I started driving. Adam told me I could just cut it down, which I did. Despite that, I still gave him a 5-star rating because I wanted to be supportive. However, this second experience had more significant hurdles. During this rental (Friday 2:00 PM to Monday), I realized a headlight was out on Friday night. Because I live in an area where police are strict about ticketing, I couldn’t drive the car that night, losing a lot of my rental time, and cancelling my plans..
On Saturday, I had to handle the repair myself. I went to a nearby AutoZone, and fortunately, the nice man that worked there stood in the rain to help me change the bulb. While the actual fix didn't take hours, it was still an inconvenience I had to manage during my weekend.
Adam did reimburse me for the bulb, but I was disappointed that no discount was offered for the lost time on Friday or the effort of coordinating a repair on his vehicle. It’s also frustrating to receive a generic message offering a discount just for leaving a review. In my opinion, it’s not the best look to offer a "review discount" to everyone while failing to offer a "troubleshooting discount" to a loyal customer who just spent their time fixing your car in the rain.
The rental was cool otherwise. I like Adam and appreciate him renting to me, but I think this situation could have been handled better. I’m leaving 4 stars to stay positive, but I hope maintenance and customer service are handled more thoughtfully in the future.

Car was great for work travel. Towards the end of my trip the tire pressure light came on . But nothing to serious . I appreciate the great communication and support from you all.
No smoking allowed
Smoking in any Turo vehicle will result in a $150 fine
