I originally had a different car reserved through the same host. They cancelled on me the day prior to my reservation and I had to figure out a last minute car that would fit our family, be pet friendly and have car seats. Selecting a car with those requirements the DAY BEFORE a trip leaves you with only a couple of options. I found another car through the same host/company but the original car had 1,800 covered miles and the new car only had 900 covered miles. We needed the 1,800 covered miles because we were traveling throughout Montana on a week long road trip. The host did not extend an offer to increase the mileage one bit. Didn’t even want to meet in the middle. They instead charged us over $1,000 for the excess mileage. When asked to reconsider the charge they didn’t extend any discount or want to help us out.
Horrible experience. I would never rent through this host ever again nor do I recommend them.
When we picked up the car, the outside was not clean and there were two alcohol cans inside under the drivers seat. The change oil light came on half way through our trip.
It seems like this host/company cares more about making money and less about the quality of your experience.
