Check engine light came but car was driving fine tried to put it back on the 492 miliges of gas but it only took 470???hope I don’t get charged for something that I don’t have any control of

Hi Brian, thanks for booking a trip. The check engine light like I had mentioned was most likely due to the gas cap not closed properly after filling up gas. Regarding the mileage it shows after you fill the tank, is an estimate based on how economically the car is driven by the driver. It will be different for every driver as we all drive a differently. Apologies it confused you while/after filling up tank.
