I had an excellent experience renting from Hao! The car was in great condition, clean, comfortable, and perfect for my road trip through Colorado and Wyoming. Everything went smoothly from pickup to drop-off. Hao was very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire rental process. Communication was excellent, and the whole experience was easy and stress-free. I would definitely rent from Hao again and highly recommend him to anyone visiting Denver!

Great car to drive. Everything worked well. But the car has hail damage, the back tires were under inflated and there were some vibrations when braking that should probably be checked out. Car was easy to find.

Pick-up was fine, it was a bit of a shuttle from the airport, but nothing out of the ordinary.
After starting the vehicle, it had lights on the dash for errors with lane departure and collision avoidance. After driving it, I found that the vehicle had no cruise control (not working) and the alignment was significantly off. After getting to a small town up in the mountains, and having driven mountain passes for a day, I looked and saw steel beading coming through the tire due to the poor alignment. In May, the vehicle was reported to have mechanical issues and dismissed that things were fine.
I worked with Hao, and he first attempted to have me spend part of my trip in an auto shop for an alignment, brake job, etc. He finally agreed to send a tow truck due to how unsafe the vehicle was.
As I spent 3 hours of my trip on the phone with Turo, Hao quit responding to me, and ghosted me entirely. I was surprised that the next day, he filed a collision claim against me for damage to the tire.
Very poor experience with Hao and the vehicle, and it was clear there was no upkeep with the vehicle.

Thank you for your feedback. I want to clarify that the tire damage occurred after the vehicle hit a pothole during the trip. Once I was notified, I discussed repair options and ultimately arranged a tow for safety. The damage claim was submitted through Turo so they could independently review the pre-trip and post-trip evidence and determine responsibility. Guest safety and proper vehicle maintenance are always priorities for us.
