Pick up instructions did not come through the app on time which was stressful, but I appreciated it being onsite at the airport. The $20 parking fee was not clearly communicated, but I had read other reviews so this was not shocking. I was notified the evening before that the automatic lift for hatchback was not working and the then told not to worry about the dash crash light flashing and the day of pickup. I was worried that I might get stranded with this vehicle, but not a lot I could do. Lift back was a real struggle to open all week. There was also something wrong with the transmission which made the car shutter at rolling speed. Luckily it got me where I wanted to go, but not my best 1st Touro experience!
Bonnie, the $20 fee is mentioned 3 times in Turo’s guest instructions, it’s available on Turo right after you book the car. Parking instructions are added during check-in before the start of the trip. I provided all needed info, was available via call/text, helped you find the car and notified you about the hatchback lift issue. You could cancel or book another car. Regarding the dashboard light, I informed you to reassure you! It didn’t affect the car’s performance. I understand your concern.

Host was very communicative. Great car. Clean. One issue is maybe the transmission when the car jerks from 0-1 mph. Doesn’t happen all the time, like if you go from brake pedal to gas pedal quickly enough. Other than that, it was reliable and took us up the mountains. Exactly what we needed!
