I don’t typically leave critical reviews, but I am doing so for future renters due to the vehicle conditions and poor customer service. During my trip, the brakes felt spongy and after a few miles of mountain driving started pulsated when stopping, which concerned me driving my family in mountain conditions.

When I contacted the owner, I was told this was normal wear and tear for an older higher-mileage vehicle. I was also offered towing (at my expense if no critical safety issue was found), or the option to drive the vehicle a significant distance back for a possible exchange if available (even though this same owner had many other vehicles that Turo showed as available). I offered to take to a local shop for inspection at my own cost if no issues were found, but the owner was not comfortable with anyone other than their mechanics handling the vehicle inspection. While I was not comfortable with either option they offered (towing or return hours away), I didn't have much choice so we had to adjust our plans to avoid mountainous or driving in congested areas as much as possible to enjoy what we could of our short trip.

The "adaptive" part of the cruise control does not work. While driving on two lane roads, the car frequently flashed red BRAKE warnings when oncoming traffic passed. It is as if the sensors that should recognize the car in front of it are instead pointed to the lane to the left.

This is a minor issue, but the keyfob battery died at our first stop, so we ended up buying one at a nearby gas station and replacing that ourselves. Even though it wasn't much, an offer for reimbursement would have been appreciated.

The wiper blades were awful and later I noticed a previous renter from a couple weeks earlier mentioned worn wiper blades, and those still had not been addressed before my trip. Thankfully it did not rain much during our trip or we would have had to pull over and wait for the rain to pass to safely drive.

Based on my experience, I recommend you find another vehicle from someone else!!

Pick up was easy. No issues with our trip. Would definitely recommend this rental. Host was great also.

The car was excellent! Definitely needs new windshield wipers and if you plan to use the rear entertainment bring your own dvds.

Great communication with the host, very professional and quick to respond to messages. Pick up and drop off instructions were easy to follow but was challenging due to poor internet service in the parking lot. (We witnessed many others, among us, looking for their vehicles due to Turo app not functioning in the parking lot. We found out later the lot has wifi but still was hit or miss. The car was clean and the rear entertainment screen was a big plus for our kids
We ended up driving back from breckenridge through a snow storm and unfortunately the windshield wipers were less than desirable. This was our first time renting through Turo in Denver.
