I gave 2 stars instead of 3 because there were multiple issues. I rented an SUV for a month. I paid a higher rate expecting a more professional experience given the host has a larger fleet. Unfortunately the turn signal bulb was burned out and the paper plates expired on 7/31 (while my rental ran through 8/5). So I was driving on expired plates with no turn signal! When I raised the burned out bulb issue, the host was slow to respond and eventually told me to get it fixed and pay out of pocket myself, which isn’t how Turo handles maintenance.
I avoided driving the car those last 5 days due to the expired license plate. Dee told me to just drive with it. I asked if she'd pay any tickets i got (no response). Turo did refund half of my money since the vehicle wasn’t compliant.
I’d be cautious renting from this host again.

Julianna, respectfully, I tried to ensure you had a great trip. I have screenshots to show that I replied to you in minutes asking to meet up to change the light and put the license plate on. I also personally called Turo to assist in adding your additional driver. Furthermore, you had a pet and I didn’t charge you for that. I don’t appreciate you shaming me and telling others to be “cautious” of me. I feed my family with this business and you trying to tarnish my hard work is unacceptable.
The car was clean and worked well. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Great experience working with them for my first Turo rental.
