RENTERS BE AWARE
Booking with this host was an absolute nightmare for me and almost made me not use Turo again. Firstly, even though I had to book last minute the car was delivered with trash inside still, gas wasn’t full, and the exterior was nothing like shown in the pictures. The car had a bunch of exterior damage. After driving the car for a little bit (only 1 day) and entering Rocky Mountain Np, the car had an accelerator issue and wouldn’t go. I had to restart it, after over 6 different codes came up. Contacted the host, and he told me “to check the oil and coolant level” and also stated “you probably didn’t use premium gas and it happened because you were in the mountains.” As with other bad reviews mentioned , this host will not take accountability of his own negligence for maintaining his vehicles. He also mentioned that he didn’t want to pay a $350 towing fee from my location, after I said I don’t feel safe using the car. After I returned the car to the original location which was over 2 hours away, him and his wife approached us and he tried to get me to cancel the trip on the app before leaving so he could avoid all the fees associated with returning the vehicle. I would avoid this host at all cost and think hard before renting. If I could give zero stars, I would!
