The pick up and drop off were seamless and easy. Also, the host was very responsive which was lovely. The car mechanically was great. The big issue was the vehicle smelled like cigarettes which was intense and upsetting since I am pregnant.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to you. Previous renters may have smoked in the car, and while we didn’t find hard evidence, we cleaned and sprayed it with an ozone smoke eliminator before each trip. Unfortunately, it’s hard to completely remove the scent in just one day—it usually takes a couple of days to fully dissipate.
