I wanted to share my experience with this trip because a few things felt off from the start. For pickup, the host said the car was already dropped off, but it wasn’t where he said it would be. He wasn’t parked inside the lot like the listing suggested — he was outside, driving the car, and handed it off to me there. The car also had only 38 percent gas, and the tag on the vehicle did not match the tag shown in the Turo listing, which made me uncomfortable.
When it was time to return the car, the host arrived early to the drop-off location. Before I even had a chance to check the car in, he opened the doors and began looking inside while my belongings were still in the vehicle. I explained that we had not completed the check-in process yet, and he responded by asking what that meant, but continued opening doors and taking pictures. This all happened before the scheduled check-in time, while the car was still in my possession, which felt strange and unprofessional.
Overall, the interaction did not match what I normally expect from Turo and made me uncomfortable as a guest.

Host came 50 mins late as well to supplement and rectify the issue verbally said won’t be charged for charging and still charged for charging the vehicle. The vehicle came on 19 percent battery as well charged for the vehicle to exit garage once I ended my trip. So for the host to collect his vehicle after trip where the drop off was decided to charge me for the exit even after trip was finished

i’m confused. You arrived 35 mins past your scheduled pick up time… I have never & will never give my guest a vehicle at 19% (why lie about the basic things). You returned vehicle several hours earlier than scheduled return time without communication and you’re upset I requested on trip charging reimbursement. I maintained professionalism throughout and followed Turo’s procedures even after sending several disrespectful messages and threats.
Everything was awesome!!! This was our first time driving a Tesla and want be our last!!
